Öregház Vendégház

The Öregház is an old building, constructed in the early 1900s. Since 1999, it has been under the care of the current owners, who renovated it to meet modern standards while preserving architectural features characteristic of Domoszló and the southern region of the Palóc area. The guesthouse is located in the heart of the village, yet it is surrounded by a quiet and peaceful environment. A stream flows at the end of the garden, and the fruit trees provide shade and fresh treats throughout the year for guests seeking relaxation.

The guesthouse can accommodate up to 10 people at a time: the front section houses 8 guests (two large rooms with 3 beds each, and a smaller room for 2), while the rear section can accommodate 2 additional guests. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, plates, cookware, and cooking utensils. Every room is equipped with a TV, and Wi-Fi is also available. In the courtyard, a wooden barrel bath (dézsafürdő) provides a place for relaxation and refreshment.

Domoszló, a peaceful village at the foot of the Mátra Mountains, is ideal for resting, hiking, and exploring nearby castles and castle museums. The wines of the Mátra Wine Region offer an unforgettable experience for wine lovers. The guesthouse also accepts SZÉP cards.
