Gereben Villa

Gereben Villa is located in the Írottkő Nature Park, in the Alpokalja, at the southeastern foothills of the mountain range, in the village of Velem.

From our garden, guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the Péterics Hills and the Saint Vid Chapel, a site that was once home to a Celtic city-state, later an Avar and then a Roman settlement. Numerous hiking opportunities await visitors in the surrounding mountains, with marked trails leading toward Írott-kő.

One of the region’s greatest natural assets is its subalpine climate, which is beneficial for the treatment of various respiratory conditions. Velem is known as the village of chestnuts, and every year in early October the Chestnut Festival (Gesztenye Napok) attracts thousands of visitors.

Our accommodation is ideal for guests seeking relaxation, hikers, families, and small groups. We offer 2- and 4-bed rooms, with a total capacity of 10–13 guests. Each room is equipped with a kitchenette, shower bathroom, television, and refrigerator.
Secure parking is available in a closed courtyard.

In the garden, guests can enjoy bacon roasting, barbecuing, traditional kettle cooking (bogrács), sunbathing, skittles (nine-pin bowling), table tennis, and for younger children, a swing.
