We welcome our guests in Szalafő, one of the charming villages of the Őrség region, known for its unique atmosphere. The guesthouses – a renovated traditional farmhouse and two loft-style apartments – are set on a large property embraced by forest and meadow. Thanks to the separate, well-spaced buildings, guests can enjoy privacy and retreat from others if they wish.

A vast landscaped courtyard, a three-hectare meadow, forest, small pond, relaxation areas, garden seating, and fire pits all contribute to peaceful relaxation. A covered garden barn serves as a communal space, offering cooking facilities. For leisure activities, a small football field and a basketball hoop are available. Camping is also possible on the property, with built infrastructure.

The farmhouse is a more than 100-year-old log house, furnished with traditional wooden ceilings and pine furniture. It has two rooms with separate entrances:

one room with a shower bathroom and a small kitchenette,

another room with a bathtub bathroom and a larger kitchen.

The apartments, named the “Green” and “Blue” houses based on their interior colors, each feature two loft bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. Both apartments have a covered terrace.

Our accommodation is family-friendly, child-friendly, and pet-friendly. For guests wishing to explore the picturesque Őrség region by bicycle, bike rental is available. Free WIFI is provided for all guests.
