Bio Flóra Tanya Guesthouse is located on the Flóra Farm, 5 km southwest of the town of Baktalórántháza. It is a true island of peace, where silence gently surrounds and embraces you.

Our newly built guesthouse is an ideal choice for those who wish to relax, retreat from the fast-paced world, and enjoy nature and tranquility. In the evenings, the sound of silence is accompanied by the chirping of crickets; at night by the rustling of trees; in the morning by the song of blackbirds, the crowing of roosters, and the gentle sounds of calves and lambs. In spring, hundreds of hectares of acacia forest around the farm fill the air with their intoxicating fragrance. In front of the building, rows of linden trees, and in the courtyard the blossoms of the maypole, olive tree, and empress tree create a colorful and fragrant setting.

The guesthouse is open all year round, welcoming families and groups of friends. The modern building features 4 rooms with a total capacity of 13 guests. Each room has its own private bathroom and air conditioning. For guests with reduced mobility, a partially accessible room is available.

For children, the courtyard offers a dedicated play area, including a swing, trampoline, football field, and hand-carved animal figures.

Guests who enjoy outdoor cooking can use the designated garden area equipped for cauldron cooking, grilling, and bacon roasting, with a covered gazebo providing a comfortable space for dining.

Bio Flóra Tanya operates entirely through environmentally conscious organic farming. The vegetable garden is irrigated using collected rainwater, no artificial fertilizers are used, and soil nutrients are replenished through composting organic waste and animal bedding. Birds are cared for during winter in the bird-friendly “Chirip Farm” with oil seeds. Plant protection follows Biokontroll-approved methods, mainly using copper- and sulfur-based treatments and natural herbal extracts. The farmyard is home to traditional Hungarian livestock, kept outdoors, including Racka sheep, lambs, Mangalica pigs, goats, rabbits, and pigeons.
