Located between Orosháza and Békéscsaba, on the outskirts of Csorvás, our renovated traditional farmstead is furnished with authentic regional furniture and folk textiles. We hold a three-sunflower accommodation rating and the certified “Traditions Farmstead” quality label.

Here, guests can truly experience the traditional Great Plain farm life, as we operate a working farm engaged in animal husbandry and crop cultivation. We farm our own land, located directly around the homestead. With the farmer’s guidance, guests may take part in feeding and caring for animals, enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, and join wagon excursions.

At our rural guest table, visitors can taste homemade specialties prepared from Mangalica and Hungarian White pork, along with local products such as homemade sausage, bacon, our own plum jam, and products from nearby farmers including cheese, honey, and other seasonal delicacies. Guests may also participate in handicraft workshops.

As part of our farm-based educational programs, children can actively take part in everyday farm life. One of our seasonal programs follows “the journey of corn”—from the fields to animal feed and finally to human food (puliszka). Guests can learn and try every step, including corn shelling by hand and machine, grinding with manual mills, and sifting.

At a nearby Slovak heritage farm, old traditions come alive through folklore programs among painted Slovak furniture and traditional interiors. Visitors may also view the Hudák family’s hand-woven textiles and traditional Hungarian folk costumes in a nearby studio.
